We discovered each other online as friends in 2023, then met in-person at (big surprise) a convention! There was an instant "more than friends" connection. Our first date went on forever. We just kept finding more things to do, so it wouldn't end. We discovered we had a huge list of things in common and we loved spending time with each other.

From there, we dated long-distance, with Jimmy living near Detroit and Amanda living in Grand Rapids. Every weekend for a year and a half, we trekked back and forth across the state to see each other. It was very challenging but our love is strong. Jimmy moved to Grand Rapids in late 2024 and we could finally be together every day!

We got engaged on a perfect day on Mackinac Island in June of 2025. We're looking forward to sharing our special day with all our family and closest friends. We can't wait to see you!!! :)
